Our own Personal Link Exchange Manager helps webmasters manage links very effectively for small to medium size websites. It helps managers organize links by topic or category. Custom style templates can be easily created, stored, and re-used to display those categories. These topical groups of formatted link blocks are saved in HTML to simple text files on your website. These blocks can be inserted anywhere on your website with any number of scripting languages or simply can be either copied and pasted to your pages.
Taking link management beyond the basic level, the PLE
Manager can be used to manage reciprocal linking and can check for your links on
other sites. PLE Manager can also be used to offer and manage Paid Link
Inclusion on your website. It can format links into advertiser sections, by
category or topic similar to any "Adsense" style ads or innumerable custom

BungeeBones maintains our own reciprocal link exchange and we are are glad to exchange links with most websites. We do try to nudge our way into a "preferred status" on your site, though, by placing our own directory on a page on your site. What this effectively does is it installs not only our link but every other reciprocal member's link also, in one quick and easy install. From that point on your link will be automatically added to every other current member's site and every future member's site (through the directory).
As anyone who is experienced in either of the previous two steps (personal link management or submitting links to directories) knows, maintaining a link exchange can involve a fair amount of time and effort to maintain it and its' quality. By joining the BungeeBones link exchange/directory that will all be done for you.
RECIPROCAL is the keyword, though, and we ask for reciprocity in one more additional way than just the link exchange. When someone joins the exchange we ask them to also exchange some of the labor attached to maintaining it. Every new member helps with maintaining the quality of the exchange by providing some brief help to view and rate websites. All we ask is that new members look at five other websites when they join and use the simple form in their member control panels to rate them, 1 to five, on the relevancy of certain aspects of their directory listing info. We ask they check the website content for such things as the title, description, category etc. Once the new member's duty is performed, however, future ratings are done for them by future members and the exchange gets maintained by each succeeding new member. With five reviews per each new listing, there is plenty of rating capacity to insure a high quality, relevant directory and it is only a few minutes time of each new member.

As mentioned in the PLE Manager section above there is always the opportunity for webmasters to sell advertising space on successful websites and the Reciprocal Link Exchange/Directory used in conjunction with the PLE Manager is an excellent tool to use for that. Not only can advertising be offered on your own web pages but with a reciprocal directory on your site you can also offer your ad customers ad space on the directory pages displayed on your site. Since that is all done on and from your own site there is no fee for that either. Taking that concept one step further, though, you can partner with BungeeBones (see affiliate and reseller opportunities below) and offer them paid inclusion advertising on the entire BungeeBones network.
The affiliate and reseller programs are provided as a way for webmasters to reap some financial benefit as they increase their own traffic. Any website that gets regular and frequent traffic is an economic asset to both its owner and to BungeeBones.
Both the affiliate and reseller programs can derive income from the sale of paid inclusion ads placed into the BungeeBones directory. Though the BungeeBones directory's reciprocal link exchange is free there are sites that, for whatever reason, do not wish to participate in an exchange but prefer to simply just purchase advertising (paid inclusion sites do not place directories on their site). Though the paid inclusion program is still being developed, the benefits of the programs are something that webmasters can anticipate in the future when the BungeeBones link directory generates traffic among its participants.
The launch of the paid inclusion program begins when the number of websites in any particular category reaches twenty independent websites (multiple websites owned by the same entity count as one site). When a category reaches the threshold level of twenty sites a vote will be conducted by all affiliates, resellers (i.e. reciprocal website owners) to establish a paid inclusion price for the category.
Once a category becomes established as a paid inclusion one, BungeeBones itself has little control over its pricing. New categories can be instantly created, however, and since they are empty (and free) their creation will put downward pressure on prices. As a balance to the downward pressure caused by the creation of new categories, category relevance and their nearness to the top levels cause a higher demand. Some may prefer to pay a higher fee for a higher level category than to opt into a cheaper or free low level cat. Lower levels may be more relevant for a business, however, and that can be a value as well as well as price.
The affiliate program pays a simple 50% commission on any paid inclusion sales resulting from the affiliate's website. New customer credit can result from them clicking on a BungeeBones banner the affiliate placed on their site or from someone clicking the "Add My Site" button at the bottom of every directory page. Payment will be sent at the 1st of the next month after the commission amount reaches $25 (totals less than that will be carried over to the next month).
The Resellers program is still being developed but will likely be a multilevel type partnerships where commissions are extended beyond affiliate levels.
